Thank You Card - By Tracey

Hi Everyone,

I have created a "Thank You" card using some wonderful goodies from Scrapmatts.
I have used roses from one of the 3D Sheets to layer and add dimension to this very simple card. To finish the card off I have added some chipboard birds and words.

"Believe"

This layout that I am going to share with you today, happens to be one of my favorites that I have created. I was also lucky enough and also very privileged to have it on the cover of  Scrapbooking Memories earlier this year. I have used lots of Scrapmatts chipboard goodies that I have heat embossed.

I have used the following Scrapmatts Chipboard CB1107 Clocks 08CB4060 Ornate Frames 17,
CB4040 Arch Window Frame 09 and CB8001 Circles 01. I just love to heat emboss my chipboard. It really gives so much texture to your pieces but also a great way to add colour.

Thanks for stopping by.

Feeling Krafty - Lauren Tomecek

I recently cleaned my craft room and discovered I have an abundance of kraft cardstock so thought I better put it to use. Kraft is fantastic to pair with chipboard, as it gives a really earthy/natural look if you leave the chipboard raw or can provide great colour contrast if you paint the chipboard.

My first layout is for the Kraft Plus challenge blog. I have painted the 'Cherish' piece (CB1134 Assorted Words 01) to match the rest of the title (CB6103 Scrap Words 21), which is only available in black. The feathers (CB5116 Feathers 01) look stunning with nothing more done to them, mine were cut out of the white mist chipboard.

As soon as I saw this bubble chipboard (CB5131 Bubbles 01) I knew I wanted to use it on a swimming photo of my son. I firstly used the chipboard as a mask with some spray, then embossed the chipboard in white before adding pearl accents. The title is from a mixture of letters in the CB1206 Scrap Words 09 pack, don't feel you need to stick to the expected phrases. The tag comes from the CB1218 Scrap Words 19 pack.

Simply Precious by Kim

Hello dear friends of Scrapmatts!!!

Kim here to share with you a very special creation.
A few weeks back I was invited to the baby shower of my darling niece.
I decided to pull out my supplies out & create her a card......so much nicer than
store brought, (don't you think!?)

I looked through my Scrapmatts goodies & found the perfect chipboard!
I added a few other elements and in no time I had the perfect card
soft & pretty
(as my niece was having a little girl)

 {Baby Shower Card}
The Scrapmatts chipboard gave my card that awesome touch & my Niece
totally loved the card, too!
She said she might even frame it for her precious bundles room!

I have used Scrapmatts
in white mist.
(very versatile pieces)

Scrapmatts have the Baby Boy pack & they also have a Baby Girl pack...
[click below to check them out.]
so again Scrapmatts prove how versatile & economic they are.

I do hope you like my creation, be sure to pop back soon to check out what the other talented members of Scrapmatts DT have been creating

Love & Hugs

Still in Christmas creating mode!!

I seem to have been in Christmas creating mode for a while so I figured I may as well keep rolling while the mojo is around! The Stringed Circles are always out on my desk as they are so versatile and the one with Stars is just perfect for a Christmas theme!
Scrapmatts products used: String Circles 02 CB5138, Bubbles 01 CB5131, Merry Christmas Scrap Words CB6098, Scrap Words CB6103 and Scrapmatts charms Filigree Flower CH074

The size of the Merry Christmas Scrap Words are just perfect - a little bit of black ink over the top and they are ready to go!

The Stringed Circles have additional stars with them which are fabulous to pop around your page

When I was doing  a bit of a clean up of my stash I found one of the Printer's Trays that I hadn't used (score!!!) I heat embossed the frame with an aged chunky gold embossing powder to go along with the gorgeous Christmas flowers:
Scrapmatts products used: Printer's Tray CB7007, Scrap Words CB1212, Reindeer CB5048 and Christmas Ornaments CB1059

The chunky gold embossing gives a wonderful old and textured feel to the chipboard:

Happy creating!
