July Inspiration with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Scrapmatts post for July.
As always, I try to showcase different projects and today you will see one  layout, one Mixed Media art piece and one card.
All of them are totally different in colors and styles. All of them have Scrapmatts chipboards/stencils as their  main embellishments and yes- you don't need much more when you have Scrapmatts adorable products.
So this layout is a wedding photo of my lovely daughter around taken about a year ago. I made it as Princess layout and added all those circles made from cardstock on the left. But then I knew that Scrapmatts circled chipboard will add much more interest and yes, you can add background chipboards on the top, not just far behind your papers or photos.
The dark pink splatters were made with Scrapmatts Paint drips stencil and Tattered Angels mist. They look just perfect as the random splashes over the page, but they are totally non random ones.
The fancy lamp was added on the top to become a piece of the photo.
The layered design embellishement was the prefect outline for the bottom of the photo. Happiness title was just a perfect sub- title for this page.
And yes- I also added a window, some heat embossed copper flowers and the Today arrow as my main embellishement cluster.

My second project fro today is a small art page that I made with a lot of Scrapmatts products and with Honey Bee Stamps and it's all about being Happy!

As you can see I made the background with the very same Paint drops sencil , but this time I used black acrylic paint and made those drips very much visible.
The background was stamped over tissue paper and glued with Gel Medium and then I added three different Scrapmatts chipboards to make this CHERISH  Happy moments today title.
I used Tattered Angels High Impact paint to color the chipboards for this piece.

And the last project for today, but no the least is a simple Mixed Media card that I made over Canvas Corp  Kraft patterned cardstock with some background stamping (Inspired by Stamping).

The stamped sentiment was framed with  Scrapmatts ornate frames and then I added a lamp and a chain over the card. All  chipboard pieces are heat embossed with embossing powder and glitters.

I hope that I inspired you a bit with my totally different projects made with almost the same Scrapmatts products  and see you again next month!

Inspired By The Seasons

Hi there, it's Christine here posting a couple of Scrapmatts projects inspired by different seasons.  Let's start off with Autumn which has passed months ago in our side of the world.  I miss its beautiful colors and this has inspired me to create a trio of Autumn ATCs.

ATC 1

Scrapmatts Chipboards: Rounded Corner ATCs (ATC10-008); Page Borders (CB2005); Leaves (CB1115); Burnt Cream Scrap Words (CB1238)

Scrapmatts Stencils: Leaves (ST1034); Borders (ST1010)

ATC 2

The Scrapmatts Leaves Stencil is absolutely perfect for any Autumn projects.  For more leafy touches, I've added some Leaves chipboards which I've inked gold.

At the edges of ATCs 1 & 3 are the Page Borders chipboards.  The words are from the Burnt Cream Scrap Words Chipboards.

Now it's time to transition to winter.  I've always wanted to give A4 layouts a go, & here is my first one finally.

Scrapmatts chipboards: Gears (CB1073); Retro Squares (CB5142); Assorted Words (CB6106)

Scrapmatts stencils: Strings (ST1021); Circles (ST5006)

It's winter here in New Zealand which inspired me to create a wintery steely blue layout.

I've given all the chipboards a coat of gesso & colored them each with Tattered Angels mists.  I've used the Strings & Circles Scrapmatts stencils to add some layers of texture to my background.

Thanks for popping in & I hope you enjoyed my post today.  Keep an eye out for more inspiration from the Scrapmatts team.

Memories

Good morning, how are you all? I am currently trying to recover from my trip to QLD, and I need a  holiday from the holiday, have to admit the pain is real when trying to get back into a ''life'' routine but that been said, I have managed to do a layout or two, this month after the very girly month last month I have some masculine layouts to share this month.

With the CB5132 Chains 01  circles, cut the circle off  under your layers so you can use for another layout or a card that way your extending your stash.

Why not layer your Scrapmatts Chipboard - CB6113 Scrap Words 32 with some of your alpha stickers?

Remember

Hi & Welcome

Fi here and today I share with you two layout I have created.
I'm a little late today due to technical problems, so with fingers crossed
lets hope I get it posted this time.

Firstly I have a page I created using some really old Basic Grey paper, the great thing about mixed media pages is, what was once old, can become new again.

I have used the smaller Scrapmatts feathers along with the hexagon template.

My other page was created for the Sketchyboard Challenge

I have to admit I've used another Basic Grey paper here as well, these papers are perfect for layering up with mixed media products.  Below I have listed Scrapmats products, some of these are just my go to all faves.

JULY CREATIONS with Lizzy.

Hello there,
I hope your day is going well! I have two layouts I would love to share with you today. The layouts I am sharing are typical of my style, and it is just so easy to pop some lovely SCRAPMATTS chipboard pieces on them.

The first layout is for my youngest daughter and I have put some encouraging words from the SCRAP WORD PACK CB1238
around the layout for her inspiration.
I have also used a lovely ORNATE FRAME CB5071 around my photo
which I have embossed in pink.
I am sure you can also see the gorgeous  big BIRD CAGE CB4036

which has also been embossed in pink. I also used a cute birdie from that pack too.
And in the corner I have a little BIRD CAGE CB1016
with two little birdies!
And my layout..

Free..

My second layout is about a love between my daughter and a dog..  and I have used pastel colors and lots of flowers. It just reminded me of a spring garden, so I popped a sweet BIRD BATH CB6072 in among the flowers.

I left the bird bath natural and put a little glitter glue to show some sparkling water.
In the bottom right corner I have placed a lovely TOPIARY CB1111 which I have painted a soft green.

and put a bling pink heart on the pot!

And I just had to use the word LOVE from the ASSORTED WORD PACK CB6106
which I have embossed in white..

and my layout..

Priceless love..
A few lovely chipboard pieces can really add a great touch to any layout.

Thanks so much for dropping by and pop on back again as there is always something new to see!  Catch you next time!
