Good morning, I'm up on the blog today sharing you with you a couple of card as well as a layout I made a few weeks ago.  Hope they get you inspired and crafting whilst we enjoy this beautiful cooler weather.

With Father's Day just around the corner its a perfect time to make him a card, and I just love the wee words that Scrapmatts create. They work beautifully with those whom love making something from the heart.

Sure my Dad will love this card, and the doily die cut just softens it a touch.

The one below I created for a family occasion and would work perfect with a box of chocolates.

The layout below was created for another Challenge but I wanted to share any way.  I've used one of the Scrapmatts pieces and cut it up to blend in with all the dream catcher fussy cutting I have done.

Well I hope you've enjoyed my creations and I look forward to seeing what every one else does, don't forget we have an online gallery where we would love you to share with us.

Chalk it Up In July

Chalk it Up

Hello and Welcome to July

Today I'm on the blog to share with you my DT projects for the month.

First up I have a Chalkboard that I have decorated with Scrapmatts Chipboard.

This chalkboard can be found in Kmart for the grand total of $5.00. What a Bargain!!!

This is the first side of the board.

Here I have attached the Scrapmatts butterfly and to decorate I have added some Kaisercraft Pearls and covered in glossy accents.

This is the other side of the board.

On this side I have added another butterfly.
The chipboard vine behind the flowers are also from Scrapmatts.

 Close up of Butterfly

 Close up of the vine.

If you would like to recreate this chalkboard, then these are the products from Scrapmatts used

For the next project I have made a 4x6 canvas art.

To add texture to the base, I have used the Cobblestone stencil and then used some snow paste.

I coloured the canvas with mini distress ink Mowed Lawn.

The vines are coloured with Brilliance Gold Ink.

These very cute words are from the Scrapmatts Scrap Words.

This little charm is also from Scrapmatts.

All flowers used in these projects are from 49 and Market.
To add the sparkle to the canvas, I have used the sparkle pen from Close to my Heart.

Here is a list of the Scrapmatts products used

July Creating with Helen - Memories, Hello and three ATC's

Hello and welcome back to Scrapmatts.
It's Helen with you today.

First I'm sharing a layout which I created for the Kraft+ July challenge.
I've used Fussy cut roses, a background of roses, a rose stencil and the stunning
Scrapmatts rose chipboard.
I used acrylic paints on the gorgeous String circles Roses  and layered them up with
pretty papers are from Kaisercraft, the High Tea collection.
The fussy cut roses are from "Devonshire"
The stencil is by Tim Holtz THS075.
The background paper is "Tea leaves"
The little title I just swiped with watercolour ink.

Next I'm sharing a layout which was a combined Scrapmatts/CSI challenge.
Scrapmatts is kindly sponsoring CSI again this month.

I wet embossed the gorgeous frame to highlight my photo.
The little wooden stars were added for one of the evidence clues.
The butterfly was given a water colour wash; another of the evidence clues.
The script word was heavily embossed with UTEE and the chipboard held up perfectly.
