Bright layouts by Elena Smoktunova

                                                                            Hello friends!
Today I will show you a bright page with a great number of my favourite chipboard! Each chipboard has perfectly fitted into the project! He is graceful, many-sided, I adore him!

I some chipboards on a part cut and have added as a decor. With such wonderful chipboards jewelry absolutely isn't necessary! They will decorate any work!

This time I didn't paint with chipboards paints. I have added sprays of different flowers. Some sprays have got on chipboard therefore they were painted in these colors.

This wonderful chipboard in itself self-sufficient and I think him not necessarily always to paint. Here and this time I specially didn't paint it. It has turned out very effectively, it doesn't seem to you?

and one more bright emotional page with wonderful chipboards! At first I have painted a background with different paints, and sprays. I have handed over multilayered composition with my magnificent chipboards. Same as well as in the previous page.

Here too I didn't paint chipboard but only a part of sprays and paints has got on him. I worked with the same chipboards, but pages different. One bright, juicy in pink tones, and another bright and emotional, explosive! And my favourite chipboard has helped me with it! as always!

April inspiration with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first Scrapmatts project for April.
This time I decided to begin with an altered spiral notebook and was totally embellished with Scrapmatts products over the patterned cardstock (Scrapberry's). Most of the chipboard pieces came from one single chipboards set- Nautical designs 04.
All chipboard were first covered with a thin layer of white gesso and then inked around or partially colored and you can still see the actual off white color of the original chipboard.

" Timeless Moment" title was made with two piece from Scrap Words 22 set. The bottom chipboard were painted with a kind of  distress painted look and I added a few pearls near the shell and misted the whole piece over.

On each and every inside page I added the clear sticky envelope to add " memories" from your Summer vacation and added one more Scrapmatts word.

 Products used:
CB1221 Nautical Designs 04
CB1236 Scrap Words 22

My second Scrapmatts project for April is a monochromatic Wedding day layout made with DCVW new stack and a lot of Scrapmatts products.
So this is how this layout looks with those " blue mood" photos and blue China cardstock.

Chipboard were painted with white and black acrylics and added under the paper cut flowers.
The huge chipboard circle was added around the larger photo.

Some kind of journalling was made with Scrapmatts Scrap Words.
On this  close- up photo you can also see the dotted background made with clear glitter paste and a new delicious Scrapmatts stencil.

The title was made with two large words chipboards that were heat embossed with black embossing powder.

Another small string chipboard half circle was added on the opposite corner flower cluster.

Lace boarder piece was added over the small photos part of the layout.

Another lace corner piece was added as the large photo corner.

And a view from the side to show you the dimension of this page.

Stencils and Butterflies with Christine

Let’s take a moment to honor the ANZAC soldiers who fought for our freedom.  They are heroes that will forever resonate and leave a mark of fortitude and honor.  ‘Lest we forget.

Today I'm sharing two different projects, both with Scrapmatts' Stencils and Butterfly Chipboards.  First up is an ATC which I transformed to a wall display:

Scrapmatts Chipboards: ATC10-008 Rounded Corners 01, CB1028 Butterflies 18, CB1238 Scrap Words 24

Scrapmatts Stencil: ST5033 Stencil Triangles

I thought what a great idea it would be to transform an ATC into a hanging wall art inspired by the concept of dream catchers, with rich shades of deep blues and purples altogether.

I just love how the different textured butterfly chipboards look against the stenciled triangles.

Last but not the least is a mini rectangle tray:

Scrapmatts Chipboards: Mini Rectangle Tray (CB6114), Ornate Frames (CB4069), Assorted Words (CB6115), Butterflies (CB1028)

Scrapmatts Stencil: Bubbles (ST5001)

Again I went for rich colors, but this time in red shades.  Nothing says romance better than this fiery color.  I love the fact that you can easily mix and match Scrapmatts' stencils and chipboards over and over again, while still getting different looks from it.

Thanks for popping in and I hope you enjoyed my Scrapmatts creations this month.  Keep checking for the rest of the team's inspirations and check out more Scrapmatts goodies HERE.  Enjoy the rest of your month.

Cheers,

Celebrations and More

Hello and welcome back to another Scrapmatts post.

With so many celebrations coming and going,  I'm sharing a sweet little card
I've created for Mother's Day.  Quite often I make these with good intentions,
to give to my mum, however I always seem to miss the post.....naughty me!!!

With that said, if I miss the post again and my mother is keeping track of my work
she will see that I've created with the intentions to give.....Love You Mum xox

The thing I love about Scrapmatts products is how intricately these pieces are,
their not big and bulky if that isn't your style but versatile enough for layering
for those wanting more of a 3d look.

A layout created using the Stencils Hexagon in the background,
little hard to see pics of template is below.

And the fun arrow words are always are perfect embellishment.  This has been embossed with Tim Holtz distress powder, makes them almost look like metal.

To see more of these wonderful products check them out here.

Until next time enjoy, take care Fi
