Wonderful gifts with wonderful chipboard from Elena Smoktunova

Hello friends!
Today I will show you several projects with wonderful chipboard!

At first two gift envelopes for money, are possible in them and to enclose a greeting card.
they have turned out flower and volume! In composition chipboard who I have painted with silk paint is a lot of. Looks wonderfully!

Here it is well visible how chipboard is painted and as he is poured!

The second project is a gift box. In her there is a gift ;)
Why packing has turned out forest? Because inside botanical notebook, and even a little forest. Therefore I have taken natural chipboard. He has perfectly approached a forest, natural subject! I left chipboard crude, didn't paint him. So in my opinion, exactly in this case looks more effectively!

August inspiration with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my July inspirational post.
Today I am going to share a double pocket scrapbooking page, a card and a tag all made in totally different styles, but each an every one has Scrapmatts gorgeous products all over.
The first project  is  totally different one  for me: Pocket scrapbooking double page spread.
I am not a big fan of Project Life kind of scrapbooking as this is totally flat kind of crafting.
But as  always try to make something different as much as I can I decided to make double page with 8*8'' pockets and I really love the result and the easy life of such kind of crafting.
So here are both pages made with new Natures spirit Scrapberry's collection.
The only thing that was added to those pages other than paper and some metal pieces were Scrapmatts chipboards as I had to add some interest to those so flat pockets and those chippies are just the perfect add- on to flat pages.

Here is the first side of the double pager:

And this is the second side of it and I am sorry for the pretty bad photos , but it's totally impossible the get great photos inside the plastic pockets.

And now for some close- ups to the parts of the layouts.
As you can see I added a lot of Scrapberry's charms to the project as they are gorgeous and still flat pieces.

And here is my recycling trick: use the collection name as a part of your project.
Nature spirit is just the collection name I cut and used over the photo title.

Metal flairs are also very good embellishments for flat pocket pages.

Some resin pieces can be added to the pages if those are flat piece.

Grass 02 CB5100
Assorted words 02 CB1136
Nautical Designs 04 CB1221
String circles 07 CB4071
Ornate frames 22 CB1220

As my second project I made a set of 4 ATC grungy/Steampunk cards.
ATC cards are fun and I really love to make them.
So those  small grungy cards I made with delicious Scrapmatts stencils and chipboards.

Backgrounds were made with texture paste, stencils (Scrapmatts), embossing powders, stamping (BoBunny), heat embossing and misting. You can see the full Scrapmatts product list at the end of this post.
Then I added chipboards (Scrapmatts) painted with acylics (Pentart) and clay casted pieces. Everything was painted again over and over with Pentart paints. Crackle paste was added over some pieces and Scrapmatts words were glued to make it count as real ATC cards.
Here are all ATC shown one by one. Each and every ATC card got the chipboard Scrapmatts saying to make it full of meaning.

A Girly Book Box by Christine

Hello to all our lovely Scrapmatts followers.  It's my turn on the blog today to share some Scrapmatts inspiration and this month I've created an off the page project which is a girly book box.

Scrapmatts Chipboards: Black Scrap Words 23 (CB1237), Roses 02 (CB1202)

Scrapmatts Stencil: 9017 Net

The background texture of the book box cover has a layer of medium stencilled through Scrapmatts' new Net stencil, which come in a set of small, medium, and large size.  Isn't Sofie clever in giving us different size options.

Inside the book box are Scrapmatts' gorgeous Rose chipboard with the versatile Black Scrap Words chipboard.  I find myself adding these Scrap Words chipboards on most of my projects and I may need to get some more of them.  Just look at how they pop off the front and inside.

I especially made this for my daughter and she loves it as much as I do.  It has the combination of our favourite colors...hers is pink and mine is yellow.  Very girly, just the way we like it.

Thanks for popping in and I hope you enjoyed my post this month.  Check out all the array of Scrapmatts chipboards and stencils HERE.

Cheers,

Captured Moments

Good morning how are you all?  Well that was another weekend gone and we seem to also be flying through August.  Today I am sharing with you two layouts I have created using as always the lovely Scrapmats chippies.

First Up is a picture of my daughter, we purchased some of those online coupons to do learn how to decorate cupcakes to look like flowers. Whilst we did have fun doing this, we left a little concerned about the product that was used to ice them....

The frame used was heat embossed with Stampendous aged scarlet, I loved how it turned out.  The glossy look on the word captured was also achieved using black embossing powder.

On my next page, I have used the CB6062 Shells, I have inked them using Tim Holtz distress ink and popped a bit of glitter on them to bling them up a little.  The white chipboards are probably my favourite items to add to a page, the ink just works beautifully with them.

Soft, Feminine and Industrial ......

Good morning how are you all? Rikki here with my share this month and I have to say the work is polar opposites this month with something soft and delicate and feminine and something for those who love something industrial !!!! This is why I love working with chipboard you can have the best of both worlds ....

Using white ink through a stencil is a great way to add a little dimension to your background...
