projects by Elena Smoktunova

 Hello friends!
Today I will show you two projects, one of them is the layout for the blog CSI and a beautiful gentle card. I have made all this as a gift! I hope him it will be pleasant!

In the first project there is a lot of wonderful chipboard, I have painted it with silk paint. And small hints: there are both leaves, and musical elements, handmade flowers.
Here I also left the place for a photo.

And beautiful gentle card. There is a wonderful chipboard, I left him crude, didn't paint. It will also be an excellent gift and will please with the beauty and tenderness!
I did a similar card last month.

                                                                                 I used:

                                                     CB4070 String Circles 06 Roses

                                                                CB1232 Film Strips 05

                           CB5118 Doorway 01

      Have a nice day!

October inspiration with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Scrapmatts October inspiration.
Today it's all about tags.
I made one single fancy and colorful chipboard tag and then made two more fancy tags in a totally different shabby style.
So here is the first tag and it's all about a Wish upon the stars.

The background was made with a few of our Scrapmatts stencils using texture paste and when it was dry it was misted and painted all over so you can see the outlines of the small stars and dots, but not the whole background.
Then the large circles chipboard and some of the stars were painted with yellow and gold acrylic paint  and some more Scrapmatts pieces were painted with a mix of blues.

The chipboard word Wish was painted with Magenta  paint and a lot of the same paint splashes were added over the piece.
As my final textured embellishments I added a mix of seed beads inside the chipboard pieces.

Scrapmatts products used to make this tag:
Triangles 03 CB5158
Nested stars 07CB5021
Assorted words 29 CB6116
Circles 02cb 5152
Stencil Circles 06 9003
Stencil Stars CT5041

And this is my second project for today: a couple of very similar, but yet different tags made in a totally different shabby pastel style.

As you can see both tags have this background made with Scrapmatts stencils and texture paste and then they were misted with a mix of different mists.
Then the chipboards were also painted and I added some gold wax over them  to make them pop from the tags.
Clear glaze was then added over the painted pieces and you can see it on the larger photos.
Both tags were embellished with the similar flowers clusters and the similar stamped and die cut words.

October Scrapbooking with Christine

Hi there.  Today I'm sharing a colorful layout with Scrapmatts' yummy chipboards and stencils.  It features my youngest daughter punching holes around large leaves and then threading some string around them.  She had heaps of fun indeed!

Scrapmatts chipboards: Rose String Circles CB4070, Grass CB5099, Black Scrap Words CB1237

Scrapmatts stencil: 9007 Circles

I've added some texture paste and color through the Circles stencil for the background

I then painted the chipboards except for the Black Scrap Words and added them around the photo and clusters.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my quick and light mixed media layout.

Check out all the Scrapmatts range HERE, and make sure to come back for the team's amazing inspirations.

Cheers,

Moments are Everything and Something Sweet by Danielle Vertigan

Each month seems to just wizz by us, and here I am again popping in with another share.

I cant believe October is nearly over and the silly season is about to begin.
The year is just going too fast.
Looking back on past photos is something I really enjoy,
so for this particular share I was inspired by a few moments captured.
These layout just came together with lots of Scrapmatts goodness so its time for a few
sneaks to kick off my first share Moments are Everything....

I Spritzed these flowers and then added a touch of shimmer.

The Lavender stalks I prepped with Gesso.
Once they where dry I ran them through the excess spray in my spritzing station.
It gave it a real Ombre look.

Using a 5x7 image I decided to cut my little man out.
It was the perfect image because the background had not much happening and wasn't in focus.

I love the circles and with this one I prepped using Black Gesso first.
I spritzed this one with some colour shimmer after.

This was the first time I used this stencil and I Loved it!!

The butterflies where prepped the same way I had the stems.

The pop of white with the blue is really effective.
Who said you cant use flowers on a boys layout.....

I used the following chipboard sets

ST9027 - A5

CB1026 Flowers 06

CB5152 Circles 02
I've cut this one up so I could work it into my page.

CB5165 Lavender 01

My next share is Lovely and Sweet.
The hearts stencil is one of my favourites in the range.
I use it alot and even use the hearts to sprinkle around the layout. It can be fiddly but is worth the effort.

The Stencil is the Perfect touch.
My favourite embellishment is the little hearts sprinkled around the page using the stencil.

I love the chain effect as it trickles down the page.
I used chalk ink direct onto the chipboard with no previous preparation.
I started with the pink then feathered the navy straight from the pad
It only needed a touch on the edges.

The Scrolls where a black chipboard.
I dabbed these roughly with a metallic pink ink. If you wanted a more dramatic colour
you could prep these with Gesso.
Its a great way to use coloured chipboard.

The bottom butterfly was a reverse colour combination of the top.

Lastly a close up of the stencilling.
You will see that I didn't keep the top lines straight starting them at different points.
Its a really fresh layout with a touch of navy that really finishes it off nicely.

I used the following Scrapmatts products
ST5036

CB1067 Flourishes 10

CB1015 Butterflies 15

CB1077 Bird Cages 03
(I used 1 cage and 1 bird)

Till next time

Today, Life, You

Good morning, we are enjoy more wet weather here in Sunny QLD.  We had a reprieve yesterday after a week's worth and now its back again....sigh...oh well at least the rain water tank are full.

I have to share with you today, a picture of my daughter enjoying a lovely glass a wine.  Since she turned 18 it seems to be here choice of drink.  I have used Scrapmatts Net03 behind the picture as well as along the sides of the page.

I have also been creating more Christmas cards, the BoBunny Christmas Carousel paper line has been absolutely perfect for fussy cutting.  I added some of the Scrapmatts Sticks03 I just loved those cute little stars and so much easier to use these rather than fiddle around with tiny little stars.

Well that is all from me this month, I hope everyone has been inspired and the Scrapmatts Team always look forward to seeing what you create.

Thanks for stopping by.
